Vinicius Jr. | 22 y/o | Real Madrid

Vini went from a 92 rated Future Star card in FIFA 19, to a freshly upgraded 86 rated gold card in FIFA 23. The quick Brazilian winger had an incredible last season, winning the Champions League against Liverpool as a highlight of the year. Kai Havertz | 23 y/o | Chelsea FC

Another Champions League winner over here! After Havertz got a big transfer to the Blues, he scored the match-winning goal in the 2021 Champions League final against Manchester City and won his first major title. Although he is not 90 rated yet, he will get an 84 rated card for the second year in a row now. Rodrigo Bentancur | 25 y/o | Tottenham Hotspur

The first one to not win a European title in this list... Although Bentancur has got regular match time at Juventus before getting a move to North London and continuing to play regularly, it doesn't look as if he could become one of the world's best midfielders. Going over to FIFA 20's Future Stars we have a look at João Felix. The Portuguese attacker received his 92 rated Future Stars card following his huge 120M+ transfer to the Spanish capital. Lisandro Martinez | 24 y/o | Manchester United

The player with the lowest rated Future Stars card in this list is Lisandro Martínez. He received an 86 rated FS card back in FIFA 20 and has just recently followed his Ajax coach Erik ten Hag to join Manchester United in England. In his great spell in Amsterdam, he transformed to a modern center back, and earned his upgrade to 82. Most certainly, no one predicted this. We don't have to tell you what happened here... Officially, Greenwood is still contracted to Manchester United, but he will probably not set foot on a professional football pitch any time soon. Ruben Dias has become world-class under Pep Guardiola, we simply have to admit that... The next CB we look at is one of the most exciting prospects in world football. Alessandro Bastoni has developed into a regular for Inter and looks like he could conquer the world in a few years time. EA Sports has acknowledged the young Italian's progress by upgrading him to an 84 rated center back. Andriy Lunin | 23 y/o | Real Madrid

The young Ukrainian goalkeeper is still at Real Madrid, although he only ever played five matches for Los Galacticos. After all, he will get an upgrade to a 75 rated gold card in FIFA 23. We think he has to get a transfer away from Madrid because there simply won't be a way past Courtois unless he gets injured. The English youngster has performed well in the Bundesliga and plays a crucial role for Dortmund. Although he is only 19 years old, he is already a leader on the pitch and is seen as one of the biggest talents, if not the biggest, by many experts. We can only imagine him fulfilling his potential, keeping in mind how he already performs. In our opinion, he will reach the 93 rating of his Future Stars card in the coming years. Bryan Gil | 21 y/o | Tottenham Hotspur

The second entry from the Spurs and yet another one who has (so far) not risen to what EA Sports predicted. To be fair, he only had the first half of a season at Spurs, where he didn't play the biggest of roles, and then played the second half of the season on loan at Valencia. He played a good amount of matches but didn't shock the world with great performances. It's a hard one to judge if you ask me, so we can't predict whether he will reach the 89 OVR rating from last year's Future Stars event or not. Darwin Nunez | 23 y/o | Liverpool FC

Nunez just transferred from Benfica to Liverpool after a great season in the Portuguese top division. Many Liverpool fans are getting flashbacks to a certain Luis Suárez. Let's hope Nunez can reach the heights of the Uruguayan legend, he really has the potential to become a world-class player. As far as I'm concerned, Nunez has what it takes to work well and improve in the Premier League. For FIFA 23 he will have to be content with an 82 rated gold card.
